Privacy Policy

The short version. You do not need an account. Your measurements are saved in your own browser, and are never written to our database — they are used in memory to score your search, then discarded. We never sell your data. You can delete everything we hold, or everything in your browser, at any time.

1. What we store, and where

Everything below was checked against how this site actually works on 24 October 2026, not what we intend it to do.

1a. Your body measurements, stated plainly

This is the part most size apps are vague about, so here it is exactly as the site works today.

Your measurements are saved in your browser, under the key fmc_profile_v1, so you do not retype them next visit. They do not expire unless you clear them.
Your measurements are sent to our server when you run a search. They have to be: the fit score compares your numbers against each shop's published centimetre chart. That is the service you are asking for.
They are not written to our database. They arrive, are used to score that one search, and are discarded when the request ends. There is no bust, waist, hips, underbust, upper-arm or torso-length column anywhere in our database.
They are never passed to a retailer or affiliate network. No measurement, size or quiz answer is placed in an outbound link.

If you would rather not send them, you can use the site without entering any measurements. You will still get matches, based on your usual size, height and fit preference instead.

2. Clearing your data

You are in control, with no request, no email, and no waiting period:

Delete my saved measurements — the button in the measurements section of the quiz removes your saved fit profile from this browser immediately, and empties the measurement fields on screen.
Clear everything — clearing your browser's site data for fitmycurve.co.uk removes all local storage we set.
Email us — if you have given us your email address, ask us to delete it and we will remove it and any associated records.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

We use your browser's local storage to remember your fit profile. Under UK PECR this is strictly necessary to provide the personalised service you actively request when you use the fit quiz.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are used. This does not identify you.

4. Affiliate links

Fit My Curve is free because we earn a small commission when you click through to a retailer and buy something. It costs you nothing extra.

While you are on fitmycurve.co.uk, retailers cannot see your measurements or your fit profile.
When you click “Shop at [Retailer]”, you may pass through an affiliate network, which sets a standard referral cookie so any commission is credited correctly. Our current network is Awin.
We never put your measurements, size, or quiz answers into an affiliate link.
Once you reach a retailer's site, their own privacy and cookie policy applies.

5. Who we share data with

We never sell, rent, or trade your data with data brokers or advertising networks.

Hosting and delivery — to serve pages and block malicious traffic.
Affiliate networks — such as Awin, only when you click an outbound retailer link.

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK GDPR-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to be told what personal data we hold, to have it corrected, erased, or restricted, and to object to processing carried out under legitimate interests.

Most of your data is already in your hands — it is in your browser. For anything we hold, email us and we will act on your request.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

7. Who is responsible

Fit My Curve, which operates fitmycurve.co.uk, is the data controller for this site under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8. Changes to this policy

If what this site does changes, this page will be updated to describe the new position accurately, and the date above will change. We will not describe behaviour we do not have.
