Wallis size chart — real measurements

Short answer: Wallis publishes one narrow range — UK 4 to 24, Main Range only — and it stops there. We read Wallis' own published size chart in centimetres. At UK 16, Wallis publishes 105 cm bust, 87 cm waist and 113 cm hips — the same as Dorothy Perkins, and 10 cm narrower on the waist than Roman Curve.

The quick answer

  • At UK 16, Wallis publishes a 105 cm bust, 87 cm waist and 113 cm hips.
  • Wallis has no Curve range. Its published chart ends at UK 24 — above that, Wallis simply does not size you.
  • On the waist it sits 10 cm under Roman Curve (97 cm) and level with Yours Clothing and Dorothy Perkins (87 cm).
  • On the bust it is 5.5 cm under Roman Curve (107.5 cm) and 3 cm over Yours Clothing (102 cm).

What this means practically: a UK 16 at Wallis is built for an 87 cm waist. Roman Curve's UK 16 allows 97 cm. Order a "16" from both and the Roman one will feel considerably roomier at the waist — that is the retailer, not you.

Is Wallis true to size?

Yes, in the conventional sense — Wallis runs standard UK sizing and stops at UK 24. Its charts match Dorothy Perkins exactly at every size we read, which is expected: both brands sit on the same published size standard.

The limit that matters is range, not fit. Wallis publishes nothing above UK 24. If you are a UK 26 or above, Wallis is not an option at all — not a fit question, a stocking one. Yours Clothing (to UK 32) and Roman Curve (to UK 32) both cover that ground.

How to use this when you order from Wallis

  1. Measure your bust, waist and hips — do not go by a size you wore elsewhere.
  2. Check your size is published. Wallis stops at UK 24, so confirm before you fall in love with an item.
  3. If you are between two sizes, Wallis publishes a standard, close-to-body chart — go up if in doubt on a fitted or tailored waist.
  4. Confirm the item is Wallis own brand. The chart covers Wallis own-brand clothing; other brands sold on the site may differ.

Where this data comes from

Every figure is read directly from Wallis' own published size guide, in centimetres, by loading the live page and reading the rendered chart. Only retailers whose charts we could read appear here. Where a shop blocks access, we do not guess. This page was last checked on 25 October 2026.
